Play unprotected MP3, WAV, Audible (2,3 and 4), WMA and AAC audio files from iTunes. It uses a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. Regarding video formats, this new model plays MJPEG, DivX (4 and 5), WMV9 and MPED4 video files. This player ships with headphones, a USB cable, a quick start guide, and an installation CD.
Design: Creative Zen players only come in one color: black, which can be a good thing as it’s less distracting while watching videos and movies. The front panel of this player has a high-gloss surface that gives it a very elegant look. The back panel is made of a matte metal material. It is quite slim and compact, measuring only 3.3 x 2.2 x 0.4 inches and weighing only 2.4 ounces. The beautiful 2.5-inch TFT screen can display up to 16.7 million colors, perfect for viewing images and videos.
Features and performance: One of the best features of the Creative Zen mp3 player is that you will find most of the common controls in the form of physical buttons which makes it really convenient to use. On the side of the screen, you’ll find a 5-way controller, the play button, the pause button, shortcut keys (which you can assign to a function), a back key, and a mini context button. Another great feature found on this model is its built-in SD card slot. This memory card slot will come in handy for those who want to have more storage on this device. Audio and video playback was very impressive. The user interface was also very easy to use, plus it is very reasonably priced. Creative Zen mp3 player will be an excellent alternative to the popular (and very common) Apple iPod.
