Are you a natural environment?

I have been to many Mind, Body, Spirit events and you will see banners with the term “Natural Environment” on a regular basis. This usually leads to some good jokes where people introduce themselves as “Mildred Bloggs, unnatural medium.” Resulting in a lot of giggles, not all of them kind, and a “natural environment” with a face like a slapped butt.

So what is a natural environment?

Any human being for whom the ability arises. It is not possible to be an unnatural medium for the simple reason that ability is natural. It doesn’t matter if you’ve seen Spirit since wearing diapers / diapers or if the ability came up in later life, it’s all completely natural.

Should everyone work as a medium?

The answer to that is no. If you are suffering from any physical illness, mediumship work can be very exhausting, so find a very experienced working medium and get some advice.

If you have a mental illness, the answer is almost certainly not. Not because of any prejudice, but because mediumship is done with the mind and trying to work with a broken mind is exactly the same as trying to lift with a broken arm. This does not mean not forever, it means not as long as the mental challenges continue. If you are medicated for life, it would be wise to avoid this job altogether. Again, take as much advice as you can from other mediums and More important of the medical profession before you even consider trying the job.

The other use of the word ‘natural’ is as gifted, and that’s another pot full of fish.

There are mediums who are gifted by nature, but I know a lot of them and they still have challenges at work. Mediumship work is like any other job, you can have bad days and you just have to get over them. I always say that you will know if you are a true medium if, after your first really bad message, it does not occur to you to give up.

Actually, it’s best not to think in terms of gifts because the job is so subjective and the naysayers are so many that it’s so much better to be the kind of person who does the best he can, trusts his beliefs, and keeps trying to do what he believes in. . You can put a brilliant message, a mediocre one, and a really bad one in the space of 10 minutes and you never know until you’re done how good or bad a message will be. You are only as good as the following message.

To train or not to train?

It is a natural ability, but it will benefit considerably from good training by other experienced mediums. Lots of people train in local circles and I’ve seen some great mediums come out of that kind of work, however when you sit in a circle you get to know your peers very well and it won’t be long before you know exactly who they are. have in the spirit world. As such, I highly recommend that you do some national training with a large group of strangers, that way you are sure you can get accurate information for someone you have never met. Help with confidence.

Who’s the best?

All media work differently and there is nothing right or wrong, but if you train with a large organization that has clear ethics and many mentors, a variety of information will be presented to you for your consideration. You will also benefit from their expertise.

Is it scary?

Not at all, it’s wonderful, but you need support and I would never recommend that you decide that you are a medium, organize a night or put an ad for clients and just start working. That way there are problems! There are laws, we are subject to them and you need guidance.

Unless, of course, you get tangled up with naysayers. You will find that people are much scarier than spiritual people and you must be prepared to deal with this. It is fair enough that someone who has never experienced what we have cannot begin to recognize it, but some people will be very rude and that cannot be changed.

It’s better not to argue, just say you respect their opinion and get out of there as quickly as possible. If you want to change the world, you will quickly burn out and it is not your place.

conclusion

  • If you are a medium, the ability is natural.
  • No one can dictate whether you are good or bad, except your audience.
  • You should seek the proper training and be covered by insurance, it is unprofessional not to do so.
