• Atlanta Beltline: Explore the Atlanta Beltline on foot or on two wheels. You can stop by any restaurant along the way to recharge and relax. With all the neighborhood’s unique shops and restaurants and ever-changing artwork, the Beltline is the best way to stay active in Atlanta.

• Centennial Olympic Park – Pay homage to Atlanta’s Olympic legacy, enjoy the Fountain of the Rings, have a picnic or play on the lush green fields with views of downtown in every direction.

• Georgia Aquarium – The world famous Georgia Aquarium is a place worth visiting. Here you can gaze in awe at the wide variety of marine life on display, feed the dolphins after their spectacular show, or catch a wave from a sea lion. If you are lucky, you can also go swimming with the whale sharks.

• Woodruff Park Reading Room: The Woodruff Park Reading Room is one of the best places to learn outdoors. The reading room is located on the north side of the park and is completely filled with carts of some spectacular books. You can even go to lunch or attend a reading.

• The Spectacular Laser Show At Mountain vision: The Spectacular Laser Show is a wacky show of lights and lasers projected onto a huge mountain, creating a “wow effect.” The show is free but parking is paid.

• Children’s Museum of Atlanta: This is one of the most fun places for children in Atlanta, it is an interactive museum that is full of fun things for children to do. It’s free on the second Tuesday of every month, so you can plan your visit accordingly.

• Little Five Points – Little Five Points has many fun and quirky shops to browse. You don’t have to spend any money, and just immerse yourself in the culture.

• Shoot The Hooch – The Chattahoochee River is one of the most relaxing places to cool off after a day in the southern heat. You can bring your own tube and enjoy your time on the river or just sit on the river bank and enjoy the view.

• Anne Frank Museum: Atlanta also has an Anne Frank museum and it’s free. With over 600 photos along with a 28-minute video on Frank’s life, this could be an interesting and educational stop.

• Movies in Central Park: Central Park in Atlanta features free movies showing throughout the summer. Check the schedule of the movies that are projected and come with your friends and family.

• Inman Park Festival: The Inman Park Festival takes place once a year in late April and has lots of fun things to do. Lots of food, markets, events and to top it off the big parade. Plan your vacation in the last week of April and get a chance to attend this fun-filled festival.
