Natural Cures for Stomach Ailments, Pain and Spasms

There are many people who suffer from stomach aches and really wanted a way out. I used to suffer from terrible episodes of stomach spasms and deep pains in one part of my stomach. The pain is so bad that I have to stop whatever I’m doing and just lie down. I remember when I was a student and used to ride out of the station on the night bus, sometimes I would have bouts of extreme stomach pain, and by the time the bus reached its destination, I was literally crying in pain because I couldn’t even stand up. straight and even walk. That’s when I learned to fear traveling, especially on overnight buses, because I’ll never know when the next attack will come.

Yes, I too have similar problems. Any idea what causes this?

When I have terrible pain in exam rooms, public transportation, travel, shopping, out with friends, work or when I am not at home, I feel very bad and alone. I seriously started looking for alternatives. I finally found the solution in more holistic and natural remedies.

My discovery:

It’s not going to sound good: but basically, it’s because bacteria eat the rotten food that’s stuck to the walls of your intestines and stomach. These bacteria metabolize food, releasing toxic gases and chemicals that cause you extreme pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. And when they multiply at lightning speed, it will correspond to your rapidly increasing pain.

Could it get worse?

Unfortunately yes. If left untreated, or if you continue to suppress symptoms with over-the-counter medications, bacteria could eat into your stomach/wall of intensities, causing excruciating pain. Also known as an ulcer. In the long term (such as 5 to 10 years or maybe longer) poor eating habits and years of toxin buildup can cause stomach or bowel cancer (people with a frequent history of stomach and gastric ulcers, who eat a lot of well-cooked meat and flavored but do not like fruit). and vegetables are most at risk).

Can my problems be cured?

I certainly hope so. Actually, it should be quite simple: ‘clean’ your digestive tract. Take plenty of fiber and water to keep your digestive tract free of clots. Well, even if clots form here and now, they don’t last long because if you take a lot of fiber with water, it cleans the track well (like with a good brush and water to clean a clogged pipe).

I am in pain now. What can I do to heal myself?

1. If you still have the bread, avoid anything with milk or its derivatives like cheese. You may also be lactose intolerant.

2. Get your digestion going by eating more fruits that are high in fiber – red apples are great. Drink plenty of water to help fiber move easily through your digestive tract, bringing whatever has rotted with it.

3. Until you fully recover, stay away from fried foods, chili peppers, and grilled or fried meat. If you want to eat meat, stick with the steamed ones.

4. Anything else you imagine will move and get stuck in your digestive tract, such as creamy soup, starchy things, or peanut butter, should be avoided, at least until you get better. Also, avoid peanuts and reduce your intake of beans because it causes bloating.

5. Have some oatmeal: This wonderful food is good for ‘trapping’ any food that is stuck in your digestive walls. With water, oatmeal will really help cleanse your stomach. You can take the instant ones but without sugar.

6. Cut back on table sugar (and that includes packaged fruit juices that have little or no fiber) because these easily processed sugars cause bloating. Fruit sugar is fine, but stick to high-fiber fruits.

6. No iced/cold water/drinks with meals, especially if your stomach is not well; It affects digestion because your stomach needs room temperature to digest food.

7. Eat regularly and don’t skip meals. If you’re not hungry, eat at least something light like oatmeal or whole wheat bread.

What will also help:

Excessive stress also affects the digestion system and drives it crazy. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, drop everything, go to a quiet place and close your eyes. Then take a deep breath and just stay with your breath. Do not think and immerse yourself in the problem that worries you. After 10 minutes, you’ll usually feel much better to deal with it. Also try some exercise, aerobic activity like jogging and doing some stretching, the increased circulation helps everything move faster and get your body working.

But it’s so hard to sacrifice my ‘unhealthy’ eating habits.

Yes, it’s hard to cut down on your favorite foods. In reality, it is not necessary to eat “healthy” foods all the time. But if your stomach isn’t right, at least try to do the above steps for as long as you can for 2 weeks. Give your stomach a change to recover. As you get better, I also recommend exercising as it will get your circulation moving and you will be able to rid your body of toxins faster.

Once you fix your digestive problem, you may experience fewer of the following conditions:

  • Headaches
  • tiredness/slowness/fatigue
  • diarrhea/constipation

Living with constant stomach pain or any form of pain is not fun. It robs you of the quality, fun, and productive life you deserved to have. As for me, curing stomach ailments allows me to travel more often and I no longer fear night buses and long-distance travel.

Note: If your symptoms persist despite doing the above, see a doctor and get checked out. Extreme pain on the right side of the waist can mean a burst appendicitis.
