There are a large number of baby showers that are planned for both the mother and the father of the future baby. They are known as Jack and Jill baby showers. Allowing children to attend these baby showers, particularly those related to the future baby, is also growing in popularity.

- Create a diaper cake
Instead of decorating the diaper cake with traditional baby shower decorations, use Smurf decorations.
