Four Essential Solutions to Healing Your Deep Pain: Stop Grieving and Start Healing

Grieve and start to heal

1- Optimism!

“The first step towards solving any problem is optimism.” ~ John Baines

Start by thinking and believing that you can take a step towards hope and peace, no matter how overwhelmingly complex it may seem. Keep your candle of hope lit even if your circumstance seems clouded by darkness.
“It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”.
~ Chinese proverb often quoted by Eleanor Roosevelt

The darkness of your cave of clouds of pain and shadows of pain can seem overwhelming. However, unknown and unexplored possibilities can be discovered, explored, and applied in your healing. The opportunities and potentialities of hope can be illuminated with the light of a small candle of anticipation and optimism. Even in the darkest conditions, happiness can be found. You must remember to turn on your light of hope.

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”
– Aristotle Onassis

Optimism can help you focus on undiscovered possibilities. Focusing on opportunities that have yet to be considered with hope and confidence is vital to stop suffering and begin to heal. Optimism is your first important solution to overcome your pain.

2- There are answers

“Be grateful that life is a mystery. There are so many things we can never know. Take a deep breath and relax in not knowing. There are many things we do not have to know in order to live happily.”
~ Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Searching for all the answers to recover from your deep experience of grief may not be in your best interest. Every answer to “Why”, “How”, “When” and “Where” is not necessary to live with joy. Focusing on the things you can be thankful for may be a better solution. Focusing on counting your blessings one by one can give you greater hope and resolution.

“Your success and happiness is in you. Decide to stay happy, and your joy and you will form an invincible host against difficulties.”
~ Helen Keller

Optimism in your thinking, determination to overcome life’s detours, determination not to let the challenges of daunting pain stop you on your journey to find more happiness are essential elements of personal empowerment. Do not let the tears of your crying over the disappearance of the sun from your life prevent you from seeing the potential stars of happiness and hope.

“Only when life is difficult are we challenged to become our best.”
~ Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Let’s be honest and frank, grieving events are tough and difficult. But the new possibilities discovered can help you become your best self. Follow your heart and don’t let anything crush your dreams.

“When it is darkest, men see the stars.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The power to heal from your pain and loss requires you to look beyond the darkness you see and feel. Searching for the stars of hope beyond your darkest night may require a change in attitude. Look beyond your bleak discouragement. You can if you want.

3- Solve

“Your success and happiness is in you. Decide to stay happy, and your joy and you will form an invincible host against difficulties.”
~ Helen Keller

Do not let the tears of your crying over the disappearance of the sun from your life prevent you from seeing the potential stars of happiness and hope.

“Only when life is difficult are we challenged to become our best.”
~ Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Let’s be honest and frank, grieving events are tough and difficult. But as you search for solutions, the possibilities discovered can help you become your best self. Follow your heart and don’t let anything crush your dreams.

4- pray

After you’ve considered and done everything, you can never forget the inspiration and strength that can come from communing with God.

“Our prayers should be for blessings in general, because God knows best what is good for us.”
~ Socrates

It is good to remember as you pray that God gives you what you need at the right time, but not always when and what you ask for. I have lived and overcome pain supported each time by the inspiration, strength and personal empowerment of communion with my God. You also can.

Be optimistic. There are answers. Look for them. Have determination and resolve. Pray. Seek inspiration for communion with God.
