Sometimes when you’ve gotten on the weight loss path, you may miss your old friends – snacking.

But life doesn’t have to be miserable to lose weight. You can add flavor and color to your life by learning some smart eating recipes, like this delicious and easy to make low-fat vanilla ice cream.

This recipe is ideal for diabetic people, as it does not contain sugar, and it only contains 3 grams of fat and only 60 kilocalories (250 kilo joules).

If you’re on a Weight Watchers plan, that’s 1 point per serving!

This is one of those recipes where the ingredient list is longer than the actual preparation instructions. It’s that easy!

In reality, people shouldn’t have to eat like hermits (with food that tastes like cardboard!). You can make your own delicious meals and snacks, and this low-fat dessert recipe is proof of that!

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons of gelatin dissolved in 2 tablespoons of hot water

300ml chilled low-fat evaporated milk

1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

unsweetened sweetener (equivalent to 4 tablespoons of sugar)

This is what you do:

Beat all the ingredients and pour into freezer trays until set. It will take a couple of hours, but the wait will be worth it!

Tips: You can eat the ice cream alone or add your favorite fruit or fruit salad. You can also freeze it in ice cube trays and have small scoops of ice cream as snacks.

I hope you enjoy it as much as me!
