After Paris, which is the largest airport in France, Toulouse Airport (TLS) is ranked number 4 in size and capacity, followed by Nice Airport, Lyon Airport and Marseille Airport.
Toulouse airport handles more than five and a half million passengers a year, although the terminal has been designed with a capacity of 6.2 million passengers a year, and is the second largest cargo airport after Paris. This makes Toulouse airport arrivals the busiest of all the airports serving the Languedoc area of southwestern France.
The airport terminal building covers a whopping 61,000 square meters and the airport itself sits on a plot of almost 780 hectares.

Tolosa airport taxis
You will find taxis right in front of the terminal building. As you exit the airport terminal building, you will see taxis lined up in front of you. All taxis in France are metered, so don’t worry if the driver can make up a price out of thin air. The journey from the airport to the very center of the city is about 8 km and should only take about 10 minutes or so.

Toulouse airport buses
Toulouse airport buses depart from gate C on the ground floor, which is the arrivals hall level. Buses from the airport to the city center leave daily at 07:35 from Monday to Saturday and at 09:15 on Sundays and holidays.
Buses run every 20 minutes, so don’t worry if you miss one.
You can buy a bus ticket on board or at the bus ticket booth at the airport.

Tolosa Airport Parking
The Toulouse airport car park has spaces for nearly 7,000 cars, including almost 80 spaces for disabled drivers.
There are two short-stay car parks; P0 and P1, plus three long-term car parks, P2, P3 and P5. It is worth knowing that P0 and P1 give you the first 30 minutes for free.
Car parks P2 and P5 have a free shuttle bus that takes you between the car park and the terminal building.
There are seven car rental companies with counters at Toulouse airport. These combined companies have over 2,500 vehicles at their disposal from Toulouse airport.
Shopping and food at Toulouse airport
Two restaurants serve the airport, both located on the second floor of the terminal building. They are “L’Horizon” and “Le Pré Carré”.
