Why so much emphasis is placed on celebrity fashion

Everyone has their own favorite TV and movie stars that they keep up to date with regularly. I know that as a kid, Arnold Schwarzenegger was like an idol to me and I often wondered what he was doing at the same time as me and often wondered if it would be like him. It seems that everyone is interested in knowing what the latest news is about certain celebrities, like who they are dating and what are the latest fashions they are wearing. One only needs to look at the media hype surrounding Paris Hilton every time she is involved in something to know what I mean. Some people have to know everything that is going on with her, others don’t care.

Celebrities and fashion designers are capitalizing on this phenomenon by collaborating to design celebrity-endorsed clothing lines. There are many people who like to dress up as their favorite celebrity, girls in particular. How many girls did you see dressing up as Britney Spears in her prime?

Most celebrities can’t even get out of their driveway without being surrounded by fans and paparazzi. This makes it difficult to have a normal life, in fact, many wish they could trade their celebrity for a normal life, while many ordinary people think that they would prefer the life of a star to be full of attention. It is this type of person who often thinks that dressing up like their favorite star will help them get noticed.

In most cases, famous people realize the influence they have on many things, including fashion, and are taking steps to take advantage of it. Most of the top stars are well known for their fashion choices and award shows are a great showcase for the latest in style and fashion in the world. You don’t have to look far to find a celebrity who gets interviewed and told how trendy and trendy they are. Since the average individual is not normally congratulated in this way, he tends to think that if he adopts the style of the star he loves, he will also be congratulated.

Some think that being so obsessed with the fashion choices of the stars is unhealthy and that it may indicate some kind of condition such as low self-esteem. While these may be the case sometimes, I don’t think it is for most people. I think most people want to be admired and congratulated. Like everything, of course, it can be taken too far. The rich and famous have virtually unlimited resources to buy what they want, the average person does not. If one is so obsessed with fashion that it hurts financially to stay trendy, this is unhealthy.
