Mobile World Congress 2011 – My prediction of the new mobile phones that can be announced

The Mobile World Congress Expo takes place every year in Barcelona and is an amazing event for all mobile phone manufacturers, network providers, developers and consumers alike. This year it takes place between the 14th and 17th of February and once again an impressive conference, seminar and exhibition is anticipated. There will be several informative speeches by key players in the mobile phone industry, including HTC, Vodafone and Sony Ericsson, to name just a few. The exhibition itself is huge and always offers a wide variety of new phones and technologies to surprise its visitors. In addition, ‘The Apps Planet’ is an application-focused exhibition that allows developers and network providers to showcase and showcase new applications and software.

As always around this time, there are many rumors, speculations and hopes about what will be shown at this event, but of course no one can be sure until opening day. One thing is for sure though, it will be better than expected and much more on display than you can imagine as the major manufacturers will have some impressive stands on display and will reveal a selection of new mobile phones that are sure to be coming to the UK. .

There have been a lot of rumors about the new Nokia phones recently, but there are no official announcements yet. So what do I predict from the Nokia team this year? Well, possibly the Nokia N9 smartphone, the Nokia E6 and the recently rumored Nokia N87 will show their faces at the show.

The N9 will potentially be the main attraction at the booth, as this new smartphone is expected to support a 4-inch Nokia transparent black display and scratch-resistant touchscreen, a large and well-spaced slide-action QWERTY keyboard . In addition, it should have a 5-megapixel camera, high-definition video capabilities, offer 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi technologies, all running the MeeGo operating system and powered by a 1GHz processor. Another interesting announcement would be the Nokia E6 (or E6-00 as it is called before its official release), which is expected to be a bar-shaped 3G smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard running on the Symbian^3 operating system. It has been speculated that the E6 will offer high-quality camera and imaging features, which could possibly be an 8-megapixel camera with HD recording, but we’ll have to wait and see. Finally, and certainly the dubious one to be revealed during Nokia’s boot camp show is the N87. This is a big rumor at this stage, but it’s possibly a 3G smartphone with a slide-open designed casing, running on the Symbian operating system.

Last year, Samsung announced the S8500 Wave phone, which caused quite a stir in the showroom with huge hype, so what can I predict this year from the Samsung team? The new Galaxy I9100 S 2 has been mentioned quite a bit recently, but there is no official word from Samsung yet, so this could be the main device to be revealed at this year’s MWC event.

The Galaxy S I9100 2 is a high-end phone that sings and dances in the smartphone market and is expected to come with an excellent 4.3-inch diameter AMOLED 2 capacitive touchscreen, running the latest Android operating system powered by a 1.2 GHz. processor and has an 8-megapixel camera with high-quality images and audio support. Apart from this device, recent rumors have also indicated that Samsung may be expanding its Galaxy range by announcing three new smartphones known as Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 and potentially Samsung Galaxy Suit S5670. Remember, though, that these are just my predictions, but if last year’s event is anything to go by, Samsung may have even more in store for us than I’ve detailed above.

Okay Sony Ericsson, now it’s hard to predict as they recently announced the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc at the CES event, so the question is what can they be saving for MWC? I can only predict that at last the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play (which is a Play Station style smartphone and this phone is one of the most anticipated phones as anyone will want to see it, hold it and inevitably play it) will finally be announced. I may be wrong here but deep down in my heart I really want this to come true as it should be absolutely amazing. It’s expected to be a slide-out case complete with Play Station-style controls and a 3.7-inch multi-touch screen, plus it comes with 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel camera, video support, all of it. with the Android operating system. Other Sony Ericsson phones that may be featured may include the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro 2, XPERIA X12, XPERIA X7 or XPERIA X7 Mini, all of which obviously belong to the XPERIA range of smartphones and have been mentioned recently but with no news. Sony Ericsson official. Either way, it should be a lot of fun at the Sony Ericsson booth if any of these phones are there.

BlackBerry has kept its cards very close to its chest and there haven’t been many rumors about (until recently) “soon to be released” BlackBerry phones, apart from a possible successor to the BlackBerry Storm2 9520 which I think will be called the BlackBerry. Storm3 and possibly a new Curve phone known as the BlackBerry Curve 8980. The Storm3 is expected to run version 6 of the BlackBerry operating system, have a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal memory plus RAM, and a powerful processor. There have also been recent rumors of a BlackBerry Curve Apollo smartphone and another phone known as the BlackBerry Dakota, but we’ll have to wait and see if they’re mentioned in any form at the event.

On the other hand, Motorola in relation to BlackBerry is very busy at this month’s CES event, so my guess is that they won’t actually be showing anything new at MWC, but if they do, it will surely be a pleasant surprise.

Last but certainly not least HTC is a misleading prediction just like BlackBerry they keep any new phone under wraps and under wraps however there have been rumors of two phones currently known as HTC Bee and HTC Paradise although these names may change before launch. I predict that HTC will have something pretty special in store at this event and will reveal at least two high-end smartphones complete with premium touch screens, beautifully designed cases, and built-in features. One is an Android smartphone and the other possibly runs the latest Windows operating system.

There you have it, my forecast and predictions for the upcoming Mobile World Congress Exhibition next month. I’m sure there will be plenty more rumors going around between now and February 14 when the event takes place, so we’ll just have to wait and see what new phones are finally announced and revealed.
