The popular Chevy Avalanche stays on course for 2011

The Chevrolet Avalanche can be paired with a 320-hp 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine and provides flex-fuel capability and active fuel management, delivering 15 mpg in the city and around 21 mpg on the highway. All cylinders of the engine are activated when more power is needed and 4 cylinders are deactivated when it is necessary to conserve fuel, in a perfect operation. You have the option of choosing a 366 hp 6-litre Vortex V8 engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission can power a two- or four-wheel drive. Avalanche’s standard features include five-passenger seating, OnStar with turn-by-turn navigation, crash response, and a 5,000-pound towing capacity.
