The Webkinz Pet of the Month program is an exciting way for girls and boys to experience new pets being introduced by Webkinz World. Webkinz World chooses one lucky Webkinz each month to be featured and honors them with special giveaways and special events throughout the month the Webkinz mascot is chosen. As always, Webkinz teaches kids and the kids at heart important information about caring for these animals along with many other fun and exciting activities.
For starters, the Webkinz Pet of the Month must be adopted during that promotion month, not before, even if it is announced before the actual promotion. In most cases, Webkinz World will announce two months ahead of time so that you can make arrangements to locate that Webkinz that is ready to adopt. Also note that it’s the exact item as the June Webkinz Pet of the Month is the Pink Pig, so you can’t use the Webkinz Floppy Pig just because it’s a pig, etc. It’s not like there are many Lil Kinz webkinz either, as mentioned in a previous article of ours, but Lil Kinz Webkinz do not count towards the Webkinz Pet of the Month unless specifically chosen to do so. Therefore, the Webkinz pet of the month is usually for the full-size version of Webkinz. If you are not sure if you have the full size version you can check the tags on the animal and if it is the Lil Kinz version it will say it is Lil Kinz on the blue tag and tush tag. The full size version doesn’t actually say full size. There will be one and only one Webkinz Pet of the Month per month for each month of the year. Obviously, the program can change at any time, but if you adopt your new friend and go to the new room, you will receive free items.
What will come for free is the loot bag found in the room that will reveal the prizes you both have earned. There will be a random Pet of the Month item that is not available anywhere else or to anyone else. Secondly, the loot bag will contain one of the latest food recipes for your pet, which again are not available except for the pet of the month. Plus, there’s more in that loot bag containing a W-Shop coupon and 500-1000 KinzCash to use as you wish. Also keep in mind that this is the added bonus on top of the normal adoption of a new Webkinz pet. Therefore, there is no additional cost to purchase a Pet of the Month compared to purchasing that same Webkinz at any other time of the year other than demand affecting quantities.
And of course, the Webkinz Pet of the Month promotion doesn’t end there. There are many special events throughout the month for everyone who has adopted during Pet of the Month. Again, all because you chose to adopt Webkinz during the special promotion created by Webkinz World. Something to keep in mind is that if adopting two of the same pet of the month is to make sure you select each pet to get each of their loot bags. If you are on the same account, Webkinz World tries to avoid giving you duplicates as a prize unless of course you already have all the items. Loot bags aren’t specific to Webkinz Pet, so if you’re really looking for the pet of the month quite often, you won’t have to worry about duplicates.
Therefore, the Webkinz Pets of the Month are a relatively inexpensive gift that can open the doors of communication, as both girls and boys love to talk about their Webkinz pets as if they were real. The best part of the Pet of the Month program is that there are no additional costs involved, but you get additional bonuses with your new friend at the time of adoption and throughout the month. That special someone will be taught important information about caring for these animals along with many other fun and exciting activities.
