Article Marketing = Internet Marketing – The 5 Success Factors For Your Online Internet Business

“Jeff, how can you say that Article Marketing, such a small slice of a niche, provides the 5 necessary factors for success on the Internet?”

I get the above question all the time, and I love it. What I have discovered in building my business and helping my members build their businesses over the past few years is this: Article Marketing is Internet Marketing!

How can I say that? Well, Article Marketing gives you the five things you need to be successful on the internet: content creation, traffic generation, list building, repurposing marketing, and product creation – faster, easier, and with less overall human effort.

Let’s take a closer look at these five success factors:

content creation – Despite all the people wrongly saying that social media will be the death of content, content is still royalty on the internet and always will be. When you’re an article marketer, you create continuous content, 300-500 words at a time.

traffic generation – It’s really simple. Create a 300-500 word article and submit it to EzineArticles.com, an article directory receiving more than 15 million unique visitors per month at the time of writing. That’s half a million a day. Next, set your account to “auto-tweet” your articles on Twitter. Watch the traffic coming your way.

List creation – At the end of your article, invite your potential reader/customer to your website or blog to get more information from you in exchange for their email address. Just like that, you’ve added someone new to your community list. And because it’s all automated, this goes on all day every day while you do other things.

reused marketing – I define repurposed marketing as getting your marketing message in front of as many eyes as possible in as many consumable forms as possible. This is simply repackaging your article content into various marketing messages such as blog posts, eCourses, teleseminars, etc.

product creation – Do you remember that 300 – 500 word article we talked about at the beginning of this article? Take that content and top it with more high-quality information and turn it into a mini-guide, e-course, or e-book, etc.
