New shining star in Hollywood – Alexnder Wraith

In each generation we find many wonderful, young and talented actors; Leo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Sam Worthington, etc… but the purpose of this article is to look at some of the newcomers, focusing on young actors who have had interesting roles, but are not yet household names. Film critics and some of Hollywood’s top casting directors have chosen 20 young actors/actresses, based on their promise so far and looking ahead, in the films that await these bright young talents. .

One of the Bright New Stars is the versatile and explosive Alexander Wraith. Wraith is always on top of his game,” says Burnt, describing the actor’s auditions. “He’s always prepared, he always has a great attitude, he listens, he takes direction very well and incorporates direction into what he’s doing. . . I think for any actor, that’s the key. You just have to do the work and be prepared to the best of your ability. Alexander is a very talented, special young man and I look forward to many great things in the future for Alexander Wraith.”

Alexander first caught the attention of New York theatergoers with his moving performance in A Streetcar Named Desire. He initially gained popularity for re-enacting the role of Stanley Kowalski in Tennessee Williams’ epic play presented off-Broadway at the Sign Theater Company. Wraith followed up that impressive performance with the Republic Theater’s production of “Hamlet” and “The Winter’s Tale” at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

Wraith hasn’t been back to the theater for some time, but she hopes to return. We ask him that he prefers New York or Los Angeles? “Both” he said with a beautiful smile. Wraith plans to stay on the coast and suggests to the younger actors that they stay open to all possibilities. “What I’ve learned since I got out of theater and school is that there is no pattern to acting or how an acting career works, there are no rules to me,” he says. “The nature of the business is so changeable and flexible that there is no way around it, you have to be a chameleon. That can be very frustrating because there is less concrete substance to hold on to, but it was helpful for me when I finally accepted that. Whenever I stay active and keep my ambition and desire. I was able to be okay with the path I was on. It doesn’t mean I close my eyes and walk away, it just means I was more prepared for anything and that made me feel like there were more options available. No It meant I was doing wrong if I wasn’t following a standard set of options. Accepting that there wasn’t just one way opened me up to more possibilities and made the variety of possibilities all the more satisfying.”

Alexander faced the particular challenge of taking on a major role in WILD, a new star-studded studio film starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Blake Lively and Emile Hirsch. Stone leading the way. You want to present your best work, take on any challenge,” she says. “That’s Hollywood at its best, you go from the streets of New York City straight to the battlefield, literally, and you better be ready to act. From the first day in rehearsals, when Oliver Stone sat me down and said, ‘This is your role.’ To me, that was incredible. He’s a legend and I felt so blessed to get that opportunity. He always gives his best. you and give it your all, no matter what. You never know who’s watching you, so give it all you’ve got.”

Alexander was drawn to acting after seeing Gregory Peck, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, Al Pacion, Anthony Hopkins, Clint East Wood and on and on. Wraith loves old school movies. “It’s timeless entertainment, the magical energy surrounds you and draws you into the moment,” he says. “I’m very drawn to it and I wanted to be a part of that energy.” Wraith remembers falling in love with acting. Alexander was always an artist, the problem was that he never had an outlet until. “One day I went with a friend to an audition and I was cast as Joe Namath on NBC’s Friday Night Lights. From that day on I fell in love with the big screen. The process is very interesting for me, from the idea that starts in the mind creator. It is then spilled onto a blank page filling it with color and texture. These colors and sounds are filtered through the mind of a director who projects it onto the actors and crew. Finally, it is reflected back to the audience, who in a sense he sees his own image. It’s the real fake, I love it.” Alexander Wraith is on the move, and from the looks of it, the sky is the limit.
