Obtaining better results in your tennis matches

Attention all tennis players.

If you are a competitive tennis player, be sure to take some notes from this article.

Because in that.

I am going to share with you 3 things to focus on before, during and after your tennis matches.

So, let’s get down to business.

1) Pre-competition.

This is where you come into your training.

Both on and off the field.

As a matter of fact.

“If you’ve been competing in matches for a while, you should focus more of your time on mental training before your matches.”

The reason?

Because you need to be able to handle the pressure that the competition brings to the table.

Many youth players have talent and all the punches in the world.

But they can’t execute those shots when they’re under competitive pressure.

Can you relate to that?

I thought so!

2) During the Competition.

Learn to execute your strategies and tactics during the game.

It’s all about figuring out how to win and executing your strategies in your matches.

Which requires a lot of time and mental effort.

Always visualize yourself winning in your mind before every match!

So.

Train yourself to adjust your tactics when you need to and flow with what happens in your matches.

And you have to trust your pre-workout.

If you’re getting the results you want, the problem is with your pre-game planning and training.

3) Post-Competition.

It’s okay, win or lose.

Stay alone after the match and write down what happened in your tennis journal.

Just write it all down on a piece of paper.

Be honest with yourself too.

Your journal is for your eyes only, so keep it real and take note of what you need to work on in your next practice.

Then make sure you get the job done.

In summary.

The 3 keys to obtaining better results in matches are…

Pre-game planning and training.

So you need to focus on execution during your matches.

The last piece of advice is the post-game review.

Try to match all 3 together and focus on mastering each one of them as fast as you can.

Focus on each one to the best of your ability and some will get better at doing it.

By the way.

There are no shortcuts to this process.

You should have all 3 of you working together as a team and you being the leader of that team.

One more thing.

You should never view any phase of this process as a failure.

It’s just feedback, so make any necessary adjustments and keep improving your effort.

Ok, now.

Time to get to work my friend!
