J. Earl Shoaff truly has an inspiring story from poverty to wealth. Nicknamed The Millionaire Maker, J. Earl Shoaff created an empire called Nutri-Bio Corporation and became a millionaire in just four short years.
Born on March 21, 1916, J. Earl Shoaff came from a poor peasant family. During the Great Depression, while in ninth grade, he decided to drop out of school in order to work and contribute financial support to his family. Shoaff was born with a heart condition and when he was old enough, he was denied service by the military during World War II. Instead, J. Earl Shoaff decided to become a volunteer physician for American Field Services. His role was an ambulance driver and a medical corps; positions that required him to be in constant combat duty. Unfortunately, these roles would cause permanent damage leading to an untimely death later in life.
From the day he was born, he was not expected to survive due to his heart problems. When he reached adulthood, he decided to adopt a personal motto: “Earl, live each day as if it were your last because your condition is that these days it can be all you have.” And Earl did just that. He started out as a “middle man” and put into business what he had learned in his previous life on the farm: weeds, harvesting, planting, and gardening. Before his death at the age of 49, J. Earl Shoaff was the director of several corporations and was an inspirational speaker who changed countless lives.
