What is PageRank?

You’ve likely been on the internet and been surfing on and off websites looking for valuable information related to a favorite topic or researching a topic for school or work. As you enter the keyword (s), it matches the information you are searching for on Google, and you get 10,000 pages of information. It’s virtually impossible to review all of them, so refine your search by adding more unique keywords. Voila, the number of pages drops to around 1,000. Still, it’s a lot of pages, but you start looking through the information to find what you’re looking for.

As you go through the first 10 links on the page, Wow! The information I needed to find was in the first or second order of PageRank. Wondering how they got such a high ranking on Google? You may think that it was very expensive to put that site at the top of the heap. The funny thing is, with a little technical knowledge and around $ 75, you too can go over the top.

Search engine optimization or “SEO” has become a standard in the web design industry, every client of a good web designer wants to be number one on their keyword and may be willing to pay the extra money for get there. A good web designer will decorate a website’s home page to match their client’s requirements on specific keywords. The customer will also pay more for the exclusivity of remaining intact. The more you use Google websites that are indexed, the faster and higher your site will move up the ranks.

A Googlebot will visit your site frequently, so keep modifying your code and keep checking your rank and status. Eventually your site will rise in the ranks and rise to the top. It may take time and work, but you’ll learn to keep it there once you employ the right combination of link keywords. Some companies can charge up to $ 1,000 for the first position, they employ the same techniques, although they do not want you to know this. Keep your META tags, title, keywords and content in line with your keywords and continually seek to optimize them.
