· Cable cars: Ok, this is not a destination, but it is too cool not to ride one at least once.

Lombard Street: Also known as ‘Crooked’ Street, for its windy and curvy design. You can take a ride in the car or walk down the street. You will see some of the largest mansions and most expensive real estate in San Francisco.

If you’re going on a tour to San Francisco, be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly. You don’t want to be disappointed by waiting in line and then discovering that the tour is sold out for your chosen time slot. Don’t forget your camera; yes, you will look like a tourist, but you will go home with great memories. Keep in mind that the weather tends to be cold, so pack warm clothes like a jacket or sweater; even in summer, the salty water can bring fog and cold temperatures.
